After what seemed like a lifetime we are delighted to be able to return to play again. Over the last few months the committee have been very busy behind the scenes getting the club ready for our return. You may notice that our clubhouse and boundary walls are newly painted, our hurling walls are power washed, our outside gym equipment has had the grass surrounding them strimmed back and cut. We have bought new nets which have been erected on the main pitch and the goal mouths have been repaired. Over the next month we will see the laying of new Astro Turf on our large Astro Pitch which will allow more facilities for training.

We have also done a safety assessment of the club and you will see that there are a number of new safety measures in place for the protection of our members, namely the gate at the juvenile pitch has had fencing mounted onto it to stop children climbing over it onto the busy road. We have new traffic calming bollards to restrict the movement of cars whilst training is commencing, and we have removed the wooden hut from the top pitch as this was seen as a safety hazard. We also have, in line with government regulations, Covid officers who will monitor the completion of health questionnaires prior to training and the use of sanitizer by all players before and after training. We are very grateful to the parents who are giving up their time to help the club with this.

The committee over the next few months are looking at re-branding the club and new signage will be erected throughout the grounds. We are also set to launch a new Club Lotto, this is very close to completion and further details will be issued closer to the completion date. We are delighted to have everyone back training and fingers crossed we'll be back to playing matches again.
